
Glide was formed in 2003 by CEO Sam Phillips, with a team of three staff operating out of a small office in Ladbroke Grove.
After working with PR departments and journalists on a regular basis, Sam identified the need for a web-based system that would make life easier for both the PR teams and the media – and the concept of Glide was born.
Since then, Glide has grown rapidly into the thriving business it is today – with a permanent staff of 30+ and over 65 major clients – and the system itself has been constantly evolved to stay on top of new challenges facing the communications industry. In April 2008 Glide received venture capital funding from Alcuin Capital Partners, a strong partnership that has enabled Glide to invest in the technology and people necessary to take it to the next level.
The values and principles that guided the company then remain the same today – and it's this approach that sets Glide apart, making it the preferred choice of blue-chip companies.
It doesn't stop there though – Glide has strong ambitions to grow further by continuing to provide innovative products and exceptional service for the communications and PR industry.
